Any picture of an underwater scene photocopied onto 11" x 17" (We found ours in a coloring book and enlarged it to 11" x 17" format) ¨
Blue block or watered-down tempera paints ¨
brightly colored pastels or wax crayon ¨
flag tape (surveyor's tape) ¨
pipe cleaners Directions: 1.
Color the solid pictures in the photocopied underwater scene (i.e.
coral, fish, kelp, sand), leaving the background white. 2.
Paint a thin 3. When the paint is dry, roll the picture up lengthwise and staple closed at the top and bottom. 4. Attach a pipe cleaner as a handle. 5. Staple on multicoloured pieces of flag tape (surveyor's tape) to the bottom. "Let them blow in the sea breeze!" Submitted byKelli Ewasiuk,
