WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE THE WHALES? Centre or Small Group Activity

Material- A map of the world, (I did not have a very good map so I drew a map on a white board using a water-based pen.), an attached copy of where the whales are, and pictures of whales backed with magnetic tape. If you don’t have white boards and you are limited to just bulletin boards you can use pins rather than magnetic tape.

Procedure- Make a key of the whales’ names and pictures for the children to refer to. Using the map of where the whales are, transfer their pictures onto the white board.
