Habitat

Kwazulu-Natal is where they are found.

Appearance

The Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin has a robust body with a small triangular dorsal fin atop a fatty hump.  The head is long and slender.

 

Babies

Humpback Dolphin babies are born alive.

Food

They feed of fish and squid.

 

Enemies

Humans are their enemies.

Fun Facts

Groups are generally small – about 7 in a group.  Humpback Dolphins chase fish into sandbanks until they are stranded.  The dolphins eat the fish, then they squiggle back into the water.
