Appearance

The Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin has a robust body with a small triangular dorsal fin atop a fatty hump.  The beak is long and slender.

Babies

Humpback Dolphin babies are born alive.

 

Fun Facts

Groups are generally small, about 7 in a group.  Humpback Dolphins chase fish into sandbanks until they are stranded.  The dolphins eat the fish, then they squiggle back into the water.
